Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Consultant to support our growing global operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the link between our internal team and our external partners — lodges, tour operators, and ground agents — ensuring smooth coordination, brand consistency, and alignment with our company vision. This person will also play an active role in shaping our digital presence through collaboration with the website development team and managing targeted marketing initiatives on Facebook and Meta Ads.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with partner lodges, local tour operators, and ground agents to ensure operational excellence across all destinations.
- Collaborate closely with the website development team to communicate brand vision, content flow, and functional requirements.
- Assist in managing Facebook and Meta ad campaigns, from concept to execution and performance tracking.
- Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives — storytelling, brand tone, and visual consistency across channels.
- Help document and streamline communication between Tropical Photo Tours and external vendors or creative partners.
- Provide input on content planning, seasonal promotions, and digital marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in tourism, photography, marketing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of travel logistics and partner management, ideally within the wildlife or adventure tourism sector.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (especially Facebook Ads Manager).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to translate creative vision into actionable deliverables for developers and marketing teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline in managing multiple partners and projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Experience working with eco-lodges, conservation tourism, or photo tour companies.
- Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
- A creative eye — background in photography, design, or social media is a plus.
Contract & Compensation
- Flexible, remote consultant role (10–20 hours/week initially, with growth potential).

Role Overview
Tropical Photo Tours is a fast-growing wildlife photography travel company running premium tours across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-obsessed support professional to keep operations smooth, clients informed, and chaos firmly under control.
This role is the backbone of the company. You will work directly with the founder and ensure that tours, logistics, and client communications run cleanly before, during, and after every trip.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support & Communication
- Handle client emails and WhatsApp messages professionally and promptly
- Share itineraries, packing lists, payment details, and pre-tour instructions
- Manage FAQs, follow-ups, and calm nerves when clients overthink everything
- Tour Operations
- Coordinate logistics with guides, lodges, drivers, and local partners
- Track bookings, payments, invoices, and cancellation policies
- Maintain clean records for each tour (documents, confirmations, timelines)
- Internal Support
- Assist the founder with scheduling, reminders, and operational tasks
- Help prepare tour documents, proposals, and client notes
- Flag problems early and propose solutions instead of waiting to be told
- Systems & Organization
- Keep Google Drive, Sheets, and documents structured and up to date
- Track deadlines, tasks, and tour milestones
- Improve workflows over time (templates, checklists, automation ideas)
Requirements
- Excellent written English (clear, professional, no fluff)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure and good at handling demanding clients
- Comfortable with Google Docs, Sheets, email, WhatsApp, and basic tools
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Prior experience in travel, hospitality, operations, or support is a big plus
Nice to Have
- Interest in wildlife, photography, or travel
- Experience working with international clients
- Familiarity with invoicing, booking platforms, or CRMs
Workstyle

- Flexible hours, but must be reliable and responsive
