All our trips require some amount of walking, so do bring your best walking shoes along! It is mostly relaxed and has moderate activity so that everyone can participate. The physical requirements are mentioned in each tour page and those which are strenuous are kept optional.
General Tour Questions
We do have. The cost of single occupancy is mentioned in each tour itinerary for every tour.
If I don't want the single room supplement and opt for sharing a room with a co-participant, how do I go about it especially if there is no one who is ready to share a room?
Since all lodges and hotels, we are associated with charge single supplements, but we will decide to provide you with a single room at the supplement price mentioned for each tour. Alternatively, we can also find a perfect roommate for you based on your gender, age, and interests. But if that is hard to come by, we will provide you with a single supplement room at a reduced price if you happen to book with us well in advance before the trip’s departure date

You can pay the final amount 60 days before the trip commences.
Airfare is not included in the trip cost but if have queries regarding flights we will be glad to help you out with the logistics.
It is mentioned in the payment policies for each tour and it varies slightly according to the activities undertaken during each tour.
Of course, you can, and we will glad to have them over! If your partner or any other family member would like to join the photo tour, then you must pay an additional $2200. Please note that your guest cannot participate in the daily photographic activities. Not to worry! They will not be bored as there are several activities that will keep them busy at the lodges, while you capture those amazing birds in the forests.
If any vaccination is required, then it will be mentioned in the final departure instructions but still, if you have any queries, we will be glad to help you. You can also look up an informative report on ‘International travel and health’ in the World Health Organisation website and download it from there for future reference.
Since, we visit ecologically sensitive zones we would suggest our guests to refrain from smoking and instead breathe in the undiluted oxygen which you will never find in the cities!
You should pack clothes according to the place you are traveling, for instance, if you are traveling to high altitudes you can take a light sweater. We suggest that you dress in layers and pack lightweight clothes which are comfortable too! Make sure the clothes are wrinkle-free and keep you warm at the same time.
It is advisable that you pack light as you will need to carry them along with you. So, we just that you carry one bag for the camera gear, one bag for your clothes and other handbag or backpack to keep the essentials handy. You can also carry a small satchel to carry your personal items or important documents that you might need frequently.
The prerequisites for international travel visas vary according to your nationality and destination you are traveling to. While we don’t provide direct visa services, we will help you figure out how to procure the via by contacting a reliable travel agent or a visa processing company.
It is advisable that you complete and return the visa form at the right time so that you will have the documents ready at the time of your travel.
In some countries, there is a visa on arrival, but many countries demand visa before arrival. We will send you an information kit once you have confirmed your participation where you can find all the details. Do get your visa sorted in advance as it is a lengthy process and can take quite long.
Faster the better, we would say!! As the spots get filled up fast and it is hard to predict when, so, once you have decided your destination just go ahead and book your spot instantly!
Make sure your passport name matches with your airline ticket name otherwise you will be denied boarding. You must also check your passport’s expiration date as it must be at least six months after your return from your trip, and if it is not, then to renew your passport.
It is highly advisable that you take a travel and medical insurance. Make sure to check the terms and conditions of the policy carefully, especially, how much coverage will you get and what are the limits. For instance, whether the policy covers the replacement of the photographic equipment and loss of luggage to name few concerns one might have. It is also important to check the procedure for making claims as most such policies stipulate the time for making claims. Weigh the pros and cons of each policy before finalizing what suits you best!
Both travel and medical insurance help to reduce the chances of monetary losses that one might incur in the cases of delay of departure due to bad weather, missing a connecting flight due to unforeseen delays, airline strike, unfortunate personal circumstances, last minute financial complications or illness for which you must cut your trip short.
Since there are restrictions for each insurance policy so do read through the terms and conditions carefully and keep a printed copy of the same handy during travel.
Your policy should cover the medical costs in case of hospitalization, traveling in emergency and repatriation. If you are going for an adventure activity, make sure the policy covers it entirely.
It is advisable that you take both the travel and medical insurance policy just after booking your trip.
We advise you to carry your personal medical kit along with a first aid kit. You can carry medicines that are for common illnesses like colds, cough, fever, diarrhoea, headaches, heartburn or severe acidity and sore throats to name a few. Those who take regular medication for allergy and asthma should carry an adequate supply of medicines. We tend to travel to remote places, it is best you have your medicines handy.
Though most of our trips require moderate stamina, it is best if you are high on energy and stay fit to get the most out of the experience!
Senior citizens above 70 years should carry a doctor’s certificate stating that they are fit to travel. Those who are aged below 18 should be accompanied by at least one guardian or parent.
There will be places you will get Wi-Fi, but the remote locations will not have it. So, here is your great opportunity for a digital detox! But for those who need to connect with their family and friends urgently then, we can help you get a local SIM card or find the nearest mobile hotspot, whatever is feasible for you.
We try to pack as much photographic activity during the day so that you get the evening to sit back and relax. Since the concept is all about learning photography in the wild and enjoying it at the same time, we haven’t kept any free time as such. But if you need to take rest, we always have that option! Those who want to explore the arrival and departure cities and take some time off for themselves for shopping, sampling local cuisines or just soaking in the city’s vibe can come a few days earlier or stay back for few more days after the photo tour ends.
As we will be traveling to Amazonian rainforests and cloud forests expect a tropical weather with mists hanging in the air early morning. In higher altitudes you can expect it to be cold, so carry a light jacket or throw with you. There might be rain, so a rain jacket and high boots will come in good use.
You can always charge your appliances while at the hotel in the cities. But since we will travel deep into the forests, so do keep a travel-sized power bar and some extra travel adapter with you in case you have many electrical appliances to charge. Make sure the power bar or adapter is working.
We keep our group very small so that we can give equal attention to everypne. The maximum group size is 8, not including the tour leader representing ou company.

The booking amount for the photo tour is non-refundable. However, you can get 80% of the total amount paid refunded if you cancel the trip 30 days before it starts. Beyond that period no refunds will be possible.
